I hear you, Charon. As a New Yorker I tend to read the New York post begrudgingly. Some of the comments I would say 95% will make you cringe and really wonder about the fate of the world.
I was taught at a young age, if you have nothing nice to say, best to say nothing at all. That’s why it’s nice to come on here and have healthy discourse with people with differing opinions but we don’t put each other down, mock, belittle. It’s a scary world out there!
