Edward James Begley
(March 25, 1901 – April 28, 1970)

was an American actor of theatre, radio, film, and television. He won an Academy Award for
Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the film Sweet Bird of Youth (1962) and appeared
in such classics as 12 Angry Men (1957) and The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964). He was
nominated for an Emmy Award for his portrayal of Matthew Harrison Brady in a television
adaptation of Inherit the Wind. He is the father of actor and environmental activist Ed Begley Jr.









Sarah Jessica Parker
(born March 25, 1965)

is an American actress and television producer. She is the recipient of numerous accolades,
including six Golden Globe Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. Time magazine named
her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2022.

She is known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw on the HBO television series Sex and the City
(1998–2004), for which she won two Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress
in a Comedy Series and three Screen Actors Guild Awards. The character was widely popular
during the airing of the series and was later recognized as one of the greatest female characters
in American television. She later reprised the role in films Sex and the City (2008) and
Sex and the City 2 (2010), as well as the revival seasons of And Just Like That... (2021–present).









Pavel Andreievich Chekov (Born 25Mar2184)

is a fictional character in the Star Trek universe.

Walter Koenig portrayed Chekov in the second and third seasons of the original Star Trek series and
the first seven Star Trek films. Anton Yelchin portrayed the character in the 2009 Star Trek reboot film
and two sequels, Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek Beyond. Both Yelchin and Koenig were born
to Russian parents, but grew up in the United States, and both affected Russian accents for their roles.








Jack Leon Ruby
(born Jacob Leon Rubenstein; April 25, 1911 – January 3, 1967)

was an American nightclub owner and alleged associate of the Chicago Outfit who murdered
Lee Harvey Oswald on November 24, 1963, two days after Oswald was accused of the assassination
of President John F. Kennedy. A Dallas jury found Ruby guilty of murdering Oswald and sentenced
him to death. Ruby's conviction was later appealed, and he was to be granted a new trial; however,
he became ill in prison and died of a pulmonary embolism from lung cancer on January 3, 1967.









Howard William Cosell
(March 25, 1918 – April 23, 1995)

was an American sports journalist, broadcaster and author. Cosell became prominent and influential
during his tenure with ABC Sports from 1953 until 1985. Cosell was widely known for his blustery,
confident personality. Cosell said of himself, "I've been called arrogant, pompous, obnoxious, vain,
cruel, verbose, a showoff. And, of course, I am." Cosell was sardonically nicknamed
"Humble Howard" by fans and media critics.

During the first half of the September 5, 1983 Monday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys
and Washington Redskins, Cosell's commentary on wide receiver Alvin Garrett included
"That little monkey gets loose doesn't he?" Cosell's references to Garrett as a "little monkey," ignited a
racial controversy that laid the groundwork for Cosell's departure from MNF at the end of the 1983 season.
The Rev. Joseph Lowery, then-president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, denounced
Cosell's comment as racist and demanded a public apology. Despite supportive statements by Jesse Jackson,
Muhammad Ali, and Alvin Garrett himself, the fallout contributed to Cosell's decision to leave
Monday Night Football following the 1983 season.

"I liked Howard Cosell," Garrett said. "I didn't feel that it was a demeaning statement." Cosell
explained that Garrett's small stature, and not his race, was the basis for his comment, citing
the fact that he had used the term to describe his own grandchildren. Among other evidence to
support Cosell's claim is video footage of a 1972 preseason game between the New York Giants
and the Kansas City Chiefs that features Cosell referring to athlete Mike Adamle, a 5-foot, 8-inch,
195-pound Caucasian, as a "little monkey."









Gloria Marie Steinem
(born March 25, 1934)

is an American journalist and social-political activist who emerged as a nationally recognized
leader of second-wave feminism in the United States in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Steinem was a columnist for New York magazine and a co-founder of Ms. magazine. In 1969,
Steinem published an article, "After Black Power, Women's Liberation," which brought her national
attention and positioned her as a feminist leader. In 1971, she co-founded the National Women's
Political Caucus which provides training and support for women who seek elected and appointed
offices in government. Also in 1971, she co-founded the Women's Action Alliance which,
until 1997, provided support to a network of feminist activists and worked to advance feminist
causes and legislation. In the 1990s, Steinem helped establish Take Our Daughters to Work Day,
an occasion for young girls to learn about future career opportunities. In 2005, Steinem, Jane Fonda,
and Robin Morgan co-founded the Women's Media Center, an organization that "works to make
women visible and powerful in the media."








Anita Jane Bryant
(born March 25, 1940)

is an American singer and political activist, known for anti-gay activism. She scored three
Top 20 hits in the United States in the early 1960s. She was the 1958 Miss Oklahoma beauty
pageant winner, and a brand ambassador from 1969 to 1980 for the Florida Citrus Commission.

In the 1970s, Bryant became known as an outspoken opponent of gay rights in the U.S.
In 1977, she ran the "Save Our Children" campaign to repeal a local ordinance in Miami-Dade
County, Florida, that prohibited discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. Her involvement
with the campaign was condemned by gay rights activists. They were assisted by many other
prominent figures in music, film, and television, and retaliated by boycotting the
orange juice that she promoted.
