Life turned out to be incredibly hard. Being sad is not an option too often for me. So, yes, i am housebound for yrs now, it is now choice. Covid was in my area. Still is. I know no one where i moved to. I befriended a cat which is cool.
It will be okay. Life gets better at times without warning. And of course it gets to be hell sometimes, also without warning.
