Northeast will experience temps of 2 degrees tonite. then -1 Saturday nite. Stays oh so cold and back to negative numbers.
Heating costs are insanity. One just blocks off heating outlet in most rooms. Even our propane heaters from last house with no heat at all, they stopped working on ride up to this area. sighs.
I don't know how your bodies function. I am autoimmune central. Like now, when IT claims to be 35 degrees, in this type of summer bungalow which management company won't admit to, the heating systems suck.
Esp if u go to sleep on CBD or whatever, or simple exhaustion, please be prepared for temps to drop radically. No kidding I wear fingerless gloves. leggings and jammy pants. 2 warm shirts and a zip up vest. i wear this now. and i wear it to sleep. Cuz houseshare likes house cold as his upstairs is toasty doasty. Harry the Cat and I get the cold.
Please, maybe it is just NY subs area, but the brutality of the cold matches only the brutality of half of our country against the other half.
Ok, i aint got time to look it up. I have a BIL and a phone pastor needing heavy duty prayer for a couple more days.
But, have warm clothes next to you in case power goes out. so u can see where your sweaters and coats and hats and gloves are. to sleep in. no kidding.
Just think back to all the people stranded on the highway for 17 hours or such during a weather event. not in NY. They were not prepared. If you travel anywhere, carry extra food, blankets, clothes and water and protection. The people are going more crazy than they were last year.
A big bad town near to me, wherein we believe the border runners are being transported in middle of nite cuz our numbers rose unbelievably in two weeks or so, is setting fires anywhere to stay warm. breaking into houses for food, warmth and monies. Lots of thefts and attacks. Fires set.
Please be careful. Methinks the fact that so many believed covid would magically disappear as Faux ci should, they had let down their guard. No one wears masks in this town. No one. So my first week here I did not wear a mask. I don't socialize much. I run outside to feed the ferals constantly and a few are constantly amazed by what i wear. screw em.
Protect the ferals in your area please. Our garage houses a few that are not touchable yet.
It is brutal. Protect yourselves and neighbors and abandoned pets.
