We deactivate some accounts if they don't post in a year or two. Some rules were when we were private. Most members planned on making the required posts. So we may have suggested within 100 days.

But right now, people came back after not posting for a long time. But it is the circumstances of life right now. So we are trying to not turn people away whom are back for help.

As the lovely Charon has already stated, RC stands for re$e@rch ch£m1cal (we have to speak in code like this so that certain terms don't throw up this site as a suggestion on search engines).

Not sure whether you have heard the term before, but RCs were exactly that, ch3ms intended for research only by lab professionals that existed in a legal grey area. Companies managed to sell them openly, and avoiding prosecution, by marking them with the label "Not for human consumption" . Obviously the users did just that, but they managed to get hold of them via a legal loophole. Some were sold under the "intention" that they were to be used as other things, such as incense and b@th s@lts.

As Charon has also advised, many really good people died as a result of an open market of incredibly powerful dr*gs. At one point, there might have been a dozen new subst@nc3s being released per week. And as they were untested on humans, until people into RCs purchased them, there was obviously no data how safe or how dangerous any given ch3m1cal was , and the users became the guinea pigs for testing these subst@nc3s out.

My personal history with RCs mainly involved the use of b3nz0d1@zep1nes that were being sold through these sites. Some were old b3nz0s discovered by pharm@ceut1cal companies years before but just never made it to market, and some were completely new b3nz0s.

The majority of the deaths involved increasingly powerful st1mul@nts that were being released, to which many good people became add1ct3d. And as you may have already guessed, as there were no prior human testing, in many cases doctors were helpless because they had no prior data to refer to on how to deal with add1cti0n to these completely new, very complex, set of subst@nc3s.

Many countries changed their laws and banned RCs altogether, others tightened up their regulations, and some carried on as they were. But yes, the point is, the world was going through a somewhat underground pandemic in which people were being k1lled, injured or becoming @dd1ct3d to increasingly dangerous untested subst@nc3s.

I hope this sums it up for you and hopefully you will have gained some insight into what some newspapers were comparing to the Wild West of days gone by.

Yeah, sorry. I'm already somewhat familiar with RCs, but my brain just didn't process the acronym right at first. I thought RCs were much more of a newer trend though. Read about them a lot over on Reddit. Didn't realize ordering this stuff has been happening for a long, long time now.

I don't get involved in them myself, but one thing I know is that you've got to be careful about unknowingly receiving fake m3ds with them added.

Like you said, some can be very potent stuff, especially when you're expecting something else.
