That's insane if nursing homes are urging their residents to sign over their stimulus checks. They already charge residents a small fortune and they are in no way entitled to their stimulus checks. There should be criminal charges filed against anyone caught doing this. There is no telling how many checks were "lost" or conveniently never delivered but were somehow cashed anyway.
