covid survivors are stuck with medical bills

I’d offer to pay 5$ a month. I’ve done that with unreasonable medical bills. They take it. They can’t do anything if you pay. But I also thought the government was picking up the covid bills of people without insurance. Medicare has covered the costs of my telemedicine visits , i refused to go to an actual visit, the visits were non covid related.

I seriously think that dr screwed it up. If he tested first for the flu and she says she actually had the flu. That would have been covered. So why order a test she didn’t need? Did I read that wrong? I had aetna before I retired , they would probably rule in her favor if she appeals the decision. I and other often had to do that, I hated aetna, but it was free through our company.
