Fake COVID-19 test kits seized at LAX

I would hope it gets bounced back to the UK so police/customs can investigate. It might be quite hard to prosecute unless they have already been sold as test kits. I think it needs a sale for it to be fraud although it might be prosecuted as a "conspiracy". Also depends on where it came from in the UK, so is it under English and Welsh law, or Scottish? For once I'm so grateful for customs! I really hope they get what they deserve. It is far worse than profiteering over hand gel - at least that is hand gel - this is really evil.

Charon, could this be prosecuted on your side of the Atlantic? I assume it has to come back to the UK?
