Something that has always surprised me and is relatively unbeknownst to the public is that ALL NSAIDs (that includes aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, acetaminophen, meloxicam, etc.) wreck havoc on the endocrine system; plummeting endogenous sex hormone as well as neurotransmitter levels by almost 40% within a couple of therapeutic doses.
Yet this is almost never mentioned or discussed...I’m assuming bc the GI bleeding risk/liver toxicity is much more of a concern for doctors.
