I read about this in China recently, g00ghell has no concern about ethics only profits, China is a huge market for them so they want it.
I have been using duckduck instead for a while now, its a lot better as i dont see my spam increase like i do when i use the other search engine.
When my pc crashed badly last year and i had to format and reinstall windows, i could no longer access my geemail account,g00ghell were useless at helping, had to make a new geemail account, within a week i was being bombarded with every kind of spam, the only thing i had signed up for in that week was the g00ghell email, so they must be selling our geemail details to anyone who pays up, bunch of damn crooks, as has been said, they keep everything you searched for, including all your emails for a number of years, so be careful how much info you hand over to them, use duckduck for searches esp anything iop related, get a decent encrypted email like proton for communication with vendors who hopefully also use a proton email as well.
