I completely agree when it comes to nausea. Tried and true promethazine is my go-to when experiencing nausea from hunger pains, being sick, even helps with plane rides. I know there are plenty of other strong antiemetics that are available by prescription that work even better but are typically indicated for patients with severe nausea from chemo or another serious disease.
Promethazine is a perfect compromise for availability and pricing. And it works!
