I am in the habit of using Firefox and am always signed into Google (so that I get my YouTube rather than the generic version).
And while I know in theory that Yes, Google is collecting everything, I am rather more spooked by what I just saw by doing this:
Firefox / History / Show All History.
Then I did a search on the word 'benzo' - and there it all is - every site, every URL, most recent visit, how many times visited....
According to Firefox, I became interested in that word at 8:34pm on 10th August 2014. Hmmm.... yep, that'd be about right.
I'm sure any Agency or hacker who wanted to, could find out what Firefox & Google knows about me and my interests. Derr.
The dossier on anxiety ridden insomniacs like my good self would make comparatively boring reading compared to those who would plot to mass murder or suicide bomb.
I sure hope that Agent Smith sees it that way.
