Scammed to Solution
#1
I'm somewhat surprised how many people have been scammed / ripped off.   In contrast what did you do to fix it?

I don't post but I've been doing this WAY too long (tolerance sucks).

It shocks me how many people get scammed (In more recent times def get it but years ago wasn't nearly as tight).  I guess I'm an OCD "googler" but in............... longer than I'd like to say.............. I've only lost one order and had 2 pkgs sent....  Not saying this to brag (dumb luck is always involved with mail) but want to understand how people are getting lured and ripped off and what you can be done to stop it.

How many times have you personally been ripped off? |  What's the most useful thing you've learned to stop it and find legit sources?

Things that may help (please share any tips you've learned)
#1 - NEVER use Google directly to find med stores - always, always use a third party review site to get a list of sources

#2 - That said, NEVER trust just _____ random review site -- a ton are run by nicely compensated affiliates or more likely the seller(s) themselves.

#3 - Like phishing emails learn to read reviews for tone.  Missing verbs, lack of capitalization and punctuation with a formal tone, broken English etc.. etc.. I've yet to be let down by reviews that sound like it's an email your writing to your friend or if there's details of was scammed by X and Y company delivered in 10 days was amazing........

In my book nothing trumps broken English trying to sound formal - I lose all trust.

I could write hours but I'm done for now...

No idea if any of that is helpful but figured I share some easy ways to sort through the junk offers out there.

You see we work here, without being paid, quite frankly out of the good of our hearts, to protect our people by telling them what we know and about whom is safe now.

We run this entire forum to protect members, vendors, and the forum.

You think we allow less than honorable sources? Are u suggesting we are being paid by any of our vendors.

Strike one. I am a minister of the Lord Jesus Christ, and as i am disabled, i give all my time to help all my family on here.

So do my mods. They are good people.

Nice way to come into my house and disrespect me.

We are family.

And, i make not one penny from what i do. I do more behind the scenes to counsel people.

Its why God has put me here.

So, we watch very carefully and have some very wise people whom smell out scams a mile away.

We also don't like trouble. Or trouble makers.

How rude.

Charon is right, as usual. This forum is not like any other out there and Charon and our mods work very hard to give us only the best. The vendors here are some of the best and have come thru time after time. They don't do right by any of our members, they don't stay around here for long.

Not saying that things always go perfect all the time, but if they try to scam anyone here they are quickly taken out.

I have been a member of many forums, but this is the safest and friendliest one goin'. We're a family that takes care of our own. Please don't disrespect Charon or the mods who work tirelessly to keep us updated and safe because they care, not doin' this hard job for money or favors. They are our angels watching over us and deserve more thanks than we could ever express.

Miked your post raise more questions about your intention than answers about your motive. Our Godsend Admin gave you the anwers. Those who dont want to be members of this family may close the door and go to other forums to waste their money and patience and at the end to realize how good this forum was.

Miked739:

You have made quite an impression with your 2nd post on this forum! You have gained the attention of the Super Mod., Admin., a Senior Member, normal Members like me, and even the Resident Coonass! If you really want to participate on the IOPList, then here's some advice from a new Member:

1.) Start pedaling backwards really fast! Your first post was poorly written, admit it in a follow-up post and apologize to those you have offended.
2.) You made a few good points in your post. Your item #3 for instance regarding grammar and formatting is useful information on how to spot a scammer in posts, emails... Unfortunately, you failed your own test! Maybe contribute a bit more to us here in this regard.
3.) In future posts, focus on building trust with IOPList Members and CONTRIBUTE useful content.
4.) You will benefit greatly if you prove yourself worthy of the trust from the OUTSTANDING people who run this forum.

Start over, keep it simple, and you may have a future here. This is a friendly, welcoming place.

If, however, you are in fact a Troll, then I will be the guy in the front row at the gallows yelling "OFF with his HEAD"! Hell, I may even be the guy with the axe!

Wow, I suck at writing.... lol.

I wrote that after reading a ton of reviews on various sites -- seeing quite a few people being scammed.

That was my poor attempt to post some examples and hopefully get some tips from other members how to avoid being scammed (nothing to do with this site -- I was referring to on-line pharma sites.... It can be tough to separate legit companies vs just pure scams.

This was NOT at all directed at this site. Sites like these are some of the best sources to find legitimate pharmacies. I was trying to post a list of ways to identify good vs bad pharmacies to help members here.

My sincere apologies -- I'm horrible at writing (as you can tell). Guess there's a reason I never post Sad
