I've been lurking around for a little while. I'm hoping I'll be able to find useful information here and possibly get a little guidance from the OG members. For now, I'm just reading.

I actually have a question. I first tried signing up and it said I entered everything too fast and I was suspected as spam. I tried it again, slower this time, and I was told I would be sent an activation link to my email. Nothing came to my email. I tried having a new email sent. Minutes later my account seemed to be active without having to do that step. Is the email verification not necessary here or is my account not fully active?

I have been the admin here for years and years. i have questioned those lines u quoted myself. I have run many a forum. I don't recall ever seeing those words before.

i never had anyone tell me We suspect you are spam.

You are a wealth of knowledge. Ok, Admin of Steel re did parts of the forum in the last three days.

Me? Been too sick. And it is way beyond me now.

And in reality, maybe back 7 yrs ago we sent out emails to new people.

Now? I click activate on your name after basic research, and voila! u r admitted and activated.

People can find my email on the home page. usually. But post and i shall respond.

When u get fifty posts , doing five a day, then u can Private Message me.

Consider me your email verification. And, yes, u r fully active.

I am sorry signing up was problematic.

You guys make it really hard to get 50 in. Not a lot of conversations going on. I found this place after looking at DBF. I looked there literally over a decade ago and thought the same thing I do now. It's 10 user names promoting the same 3 sites. Then you look at what other sites say about them and it's an elaborate marketing scheme to make 1 wealthy from running the site. One poor guy bought from all 3 vendors on that forum and got nothing. Probably spent a fortune. I'm hoping this forum has real possibilities. I'm not very gullible, I'm not desperate, and I don't gamble big so it takes a lot of credential for me to bite.

But when u get in more posts, u will see some viable vendors.

It looks like most people went away before 2020. I'm seeing a lot of threads where the last post time was before then. I'm honestly shocked because the last decade has made so many disimprovements in medical care on so many levels. On the other hand, a lot of people can't afford to buy anything extra right now as life is getting so pricey, that can also contribute to people disappearing.

I think this one marks 5 total. I'm turtleing my way through.

Tough times financially for most people these days and fed regulation on crypto ain't making life any easier but you'll find the vendors here are reliable.
