Hello, I am new here!
#1
Greetings. I am the Marmite Warrior.

I stumbled across this forum whilst searching for truth. Having had mixed experiences in the past, this place seemed both welcoming and sensible.

I've read the rules and understand them, however due to their volume i suspect it will take some time for them to embed properly!

I appreciate the spirit of the rules and will do my best, happy to receive any pain based education if needed. In the meantime, i will observe, absorb and engage.

Any advice, pointers or general banter appreciated.

Ah, The Marmite Warrior is speaking. And he has read the rules no less.

Welcome aboard. May you find all u need.

I don't have to put up the rules then I reckon. Just be discreet in how you speak as one never knows whom is also online.

Five posts per 24 hour period. Go for fifty and then 150.

Greetings Marmite Warrior. Glad you are here.

Many thanks for the welcome and advice. Ambiguity is one of my skills, but i will make a specific effort here.

Out of interest, in my research i came across a post on a well known review website from someone who shared your username. It was one of the things that encouraged me to take the plunge here.

The detail in that post suggested a long history fraught with conflict, betrayal, but also by consequence evolution, experience and...... well......i guess...... common sense.

I hope my experience progressing through the post rules you mention gives an insight into all that. Happy to be here, i want to bring something to the table as well as feed off it.

Cheers

Cheers Ice and thanks for the welcome too.

Did you know that at the heart of most great endeavours, is a complex, symbiotic relationship?

A Bonny and Clyde?
An Iron Man and Captain America?
A Dick Dastardly and Muttley?
A Caesar and Marc Antony?
A Sweet and Sour?
Yin and Yang?

Dare I say from my brief observations....
A Charon and IceWizard?

I've filled my quota, but looking forward to participating.

This is the Marmite Warrior.

Signing off.

Greetings and thanks too for the welcome.

I do indeed. It was force fed to me in teaspoons as a child and is the main reason i grew up big and strong.

Question back at you: are you related to the infamous crime boss, Don Vito Nobleone?

Hello and welcome Marmite Warrior. I hope you won't be offended if I say I'm not a Marmite fan ;-) It's a great name though - made me laugh. Since we're talking names, I'm barq-, I used to just be barq, but the minimum name length is five letters so I had to add something. Anyway, it's pronounced "bark", like a dog although I'm actually more of a cat person. You can tell I didn't think it through LOL.

Since you've absorbed the rules I'm sure you'll get on just fine. As Ice says, we are like a big family and the rules are there to protect us and our vendors. Enjoy the forum.

Best wishes, barq-

Hi barq and cheers for your welcome!

I am not offended at all, in fact, i would have been more offended if you said you didn't mind it one way or the other. Because as any educated Marmite officionado would recognise, there is no middle ground. You either adore it or reject it with every fibre of your being.

I love it on toast. Crumpets. Spoons. There were some limited edition crisps/chips they released that were lovely. And you can combine it with juices from a roast to make a next level gravy.

Glad I brought joy to your day in some small capacity- my better half is a crazy cat lady and therefore by association i have turned into an over protective cat dad.

Perhaps we could swap stories of breeding feline stormtroopers for the purpose of world domination some time.
