bears and raccoons

i have glass panes on my front door. The other day i heard a loud noise. And a raccoon was trying to break in.

We stared at each other and then he left.

So now I read we got bears all over my county. its bad enuff we hear the low flying airplanes delivering foreigners to our local airport. 24/7.

Bears. I have a couple of Mace around. Cuz no one is allowed to harm my Prince Harrison. My feral cat.

What the hell is happening in the suburbs of NY?

And i cringe to think of what steps i would have had to take if that raccoon broke the glass. He is probably rabid.

Argh. Country living at its finest.

I'm sure we have coons round here...
My BiL used to trap them for hides ...
Right now though, we are dealing with possums...
They seem to really like high protein cat food

But I really love the country ... Less nonsense out here..
Quite ... and the neighbors mainly keep to themselves,
unless you need a little help ... I can deal with that...

i have three possums whom come around when i used to leave cat food out. two would come and later at nite the third one.

they are very respectful.

and all the cats climb thru the holes in our garage. and there is wood up there they stayed on when coyotes came roaming. we aint got much water now so they will be at the other end of this body of water.

and, u did not get covid. which is also awesome.
