Favorite Colognes/Perfumes and Recommendations
#1
Wink
Hi Family.

I've never been one to wear cologne.  I was told in my (more) younger years by girls that they loved the way I smelled, thus, I never bothered messing around with those stinky colognes!  PeeeU!

Now that I'm older (much older) I'm finding myself drawn to finding a nice cologne that will last for a couple of hours after I spray.

I grew up smelling old spice on my father and grandfather and want that same smell!  But the reviews I've read of late are disappointing.  The cheap plastic bottle, the 'spray' (used to be a pour), and a general consensus of the cologne having some 'notes' missing and appearing 'watered-down'.

Feel free, if you are the type, to talk about which colognes or perfumes you wear Smile  and also:

Which is your favorite?

Which occasions to you find yourself wanting to wear it?

Was it an old memory that led you to the cologne/perfume?  Or rather, did you make a lasting memory after having been exposed to the scent that makes it special for you?

What notes do you detect when you wear it (or what notes do others tell you they smell)?

There's many other questions I would like to pose...but the real reason for starting this thread is, WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME FIND THE ORIGINAL OLD SPICE?!  IF IT STILL EVEN EXISTS!!!  LOL

I'd be open to trying their newer formula but would like to get some feedback (I know there's plenty of guys here that have old spice cologne) on whether their 'aftershave' lotion pour bottle is better than the new 'cologne' spray/spritz.

Looking forward to hearing your favorites and stories that accompany them!   Wink
