An American Airlines flight attendant was found dead with a sock stuffed in her mouth at a hotel adjacent to the Philadelphia International Airport, police said.
Cleaning staff at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott discovered the body of a 66-year-old woman Monday night and immediately alerted authorities, WPVI reported. She was pronounced dead on the scene, around 10:45 p.m.
Her name has not been released, but investigators have since confirmed she worked as a flight attendant for American Airlines.
She was scheduled to check out of her hotel two days before her body was found. It’s not clear why it took days for staff to find the woman.

Her cause of death has not yet been released.
Police said the case is suspicious and that the Homicide Detectives Division is investigating.
However, Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small told NBC 10 it appears the flight attendant suffered a

Are u kidding me? frig the meds in the room. That sock did not just walk its way into her mouth. That is what killed the poor woman.
I have read about deaths and causitive factors for yrs. I am not morbid,per se, but I was practicing law. Got the hell outta criminal law when in Law School I had to defend before the Appellate Court, the convicted murderer and rapist of a five yr old girl. It sounds terrible but thankfully me father had pancreatic cancer stage iv and I was the family caregiver. I had enuff credits in NY to become an attorney.
But I have not once studied a case where a woman, a flight attendant seen by many, in a busy airport/airline and hotel, would stuff a sock in her mouth to be her cause of death. And, she had a ton of unopened pill bottles.
She surely would have taken meds in lieu of stuffing a sock in her throat. that would be terrifying, uncomfortable, a person would fight that and remove the buggary bollocks sock involuntarily. Someone else was there. Why they did not take her meds is beyond me.
But to die of suffocation combined with a god forsaken fear of the choking is not a reasonable cause of death.
And the police have a helluva lot to explain about what happened. And no staff came in for 2 days to find her?
Did they leave the meds there to look like she ignored the meds and instead chose to die by suffocation by sock.

I don't buy the official version to date at all.
And if this is philly, defendants may not have wanted any pills to steal if it did not contain fent and the other insane ones.
