9/11

This is the first year that i did not follow along. I practically have all the names memorized.

My fireman Dude was first responder/ second wave.

I counselled him even years later.

Of course due to damage he died very young. Lungs are not meant to be exposed to such horrors.

God, be holding all your children in Heaven as I write.

Esp Fireman Dude. Our country grieves for them forever.

And, if that was done as some master plan for the monies in the building, make sure those ones are in Hell even as I speak.

Nonethless, I salute all our heroes. Grant those still living the peace that surpasseth understanding.

I worked at the world financial center that day. I was 22 years old and it was my first job out of college. I will never forget running out of those buildings and seeing firefighters running in.
The bravery and courage of everyone that was lost in such a callus attack, will never be forgotten

whereas i love your post, i hate that it had to be made.

it must have been horrifying for you.

I ask the Lord to let my fireman Dude know I am thinking of him. a lot.

At first they had hope they would find people alive. But soon they knew it was a rescue mission of bodies.

He was never the same either physically or mentally. He was trained in LE, firework and basic medical procedures. Part of Fireman Dude died in those days. And his body began to die fairly soon thereafter.

Such a tragic day in our history. I wonder if they teach our children about 9/11 or just about male v. female balderdash.

The response that day? That is the America I grew up in and Love.
