Wiring money anonymously
#1
Ok so it used to be you just filled out a piece of paper to wire the funds and filled in your indentifying information. No hassle no id you just fill in your name. Now i go in and they ask for id? Yeah im good on all that... Anyway around this with W# or M#?

I have used M# at a Walmart and didn't have to show id.

Pros and cons to this. Yes, it's not connected to your name..BUT, if there is an issue and you need a refund..you're out money. As long as you're not wiring thousands of dollars a day to Pakistan, you'll be fine.

True Chainz. I used the WU app on my smartphone as a vendor didn't accept MG. Somehow the ref# got jacked up and vendor couldn't get $ from WU. I was able to chat on their web site and get it straightened out but it wasn't anonymous.

Yes indeed... Using a "fake name" gives some folks a sense of security when it comes to W* or M* NOT knowing just who you really are.....

BUT (always a but) like Chainz said, if there is evere a problem with the vendor not being able to pick up said funds , then your purchase (if you stil want it) doubled, simply because you cannot prove it was you that sent it in the first place!

I always use W* and keep my funds to under say like 750 and I've never been "carded" anything over like $1000 , they are gonna want to see your ID... Period

I've found the W# site really useful...much better than it used to be. But that may be because I sent some kind of ID years ago. I don't know if that is still a req.

There are a lot of other anonymous ways to transfer money that are very secure. WU is very old school IMO. I would do some research, there are much much better ways that are used everyday to buy, sell and transfer money anonymously.
