maybe its just NY, but one cannot just fill out old address and new address and license plate.
maybe it is cuz of all the migrants.
but i have to create a major my ID account with ny state it would seem.
i don't even drive.

They never made me do that, even when we moved
from Ohio back home... I also was at the point
of renewing my D/L through the mail and my sister sent it ton
me up yonder... 2 mths before we camr back, my D/L was needing
renewed again ... But then it had to be in person, so when we
got here, I went and did that,,, 2 mths later, I sent a letter
of my New Addy... I always used my Grandmother's addy in Bmt
kinda a permeant addy... I changed it after 30+ years and
never really lived there
