for me FACEBOOK - Charon - 04-14-2024 i went on facebook cuz a couple people i follow are emotionally young. one was so distraught when his cat died. he does not have many friends so we comforted him and praised his new cat when he was ready. i suppose i get weird messages. but i dont like facebook. i keep away. so i go to sign on maybe four days ago, and it sends ME to a picture of a black young woman with name eileen redmond. and i am admonished that i broke so many rules the Heads of facebook are still spinning. i dont know what black eileen did. or whatever is wrong with facebook, but i aint gonna return. once in awhile cuz i have relatives in it. and we are all white. who in Gods name would pretend to be another race? No one. Facebook? it sux. RE: for me FACEBOOK - whatapain - 09-15-2024 once I tried Face of the Book and got nothing but trouble. Tracking Tracing Targeted - The Book of Faces tries to take over your entire contacts and histories and gains access to your internal phone data as well as tries to gain access to files on a PC and Server - its quite the challenge to block and remove the unwanted elements of it. It even gains access to any stored payments you have on your phone I hope no one ever saves payment options on their phones It creates all of these things the first time you sign in -- then its up to the user to get rid of it Worse yet - The internet never forgets. The book of face can never be deleted permanently. You can delete your profile but it stays with Fuxenburgers servers for as long as they exist If the standard user of the book of the faces knew how much of your personal information it stole --- by the user agreeing to the terms -- they would never Same with all of the others I am told that a persons average personal data is worth a little less than a dollar, multiple that by hundreds of millions of users bought by hundreds of thousands of businesses That is how they make their money RE: for me FACEBOOK - Charon - 09-15-2024 damn. usually my nieces send me pics of grandbaby *her baby* in and email thread just for us. but no one ever responded as to why i was suddenly black. not a damned word. and the black eileen redmond was gone the next day. some jokestar from here? dunno. Irish and British here thank u very much. But i did read yesterday off their site how much data they sell of their clients. Always good to see u whatapain. U always have words of wisdom. RE: for me FACEBOOK - TrayGold - 09-15-2024 It's not just FB---any site you sign up for saves your info and many end up selling it. FB has been around a long time. Why would anyone have any payment info on social media? |
