Introduction - Analin - 07-19-2021
Hello! Thank you for welcoming me into this group. I'm so sorry that I didn't post a welcome thread sooner. I've been lurking on and off for quite a while here, afraid to say anything. I was a member of another popular forum several years ago and ended up getting burned. Big time. Another member gained access to my personal information, stole and reposted my photos from other social media, threatened my family and used sensitive information against me. It was traumatizing to say the least.
Hopefully you can understand my apprehension to post until I felt safe enough to do so. Respectfully, I have read the rules in their entirety and understand them. I wasn't trying to sidestep anything, just hoping to blend in quietly!
That being said, I hope to become a valuable member here. Always looking to share and learn new things. Thanks for having me!

We only get upset with people whom put up info that would be very important to LE.
It will be okay, Analin.
Most recall that the "administration" at another forum hacked my computer. put up all my real pics and identity. I am an attorney so it took a year to get down my info in US. And another year to use Interpol to get it down off a UK site that was hosting my info.
People are nutz. We shall do all within our power to keep you safe. Your identity Safe. Most of us have serious underlying illnesses and do all possible to avoid the Bad Guys.
I am sorry that happened to you. It is devestating to have fear put in another.
But It happened to me also, so I do understand. I am so sorry.
Five posts in any 24 hour period. I think you will do just fine.

Thank you Charon. Your compassion is greatly appreciated. Although it sucks what happened to you as well, it does help put me at ease here knowing that safety is a primary concern. Unfortunate lesson to learn the hard way but we are stronger/smarter because of it.

and there is a wealth of info here ...

I've come out of hiding, I don't know what to say except that depression is a bitch and I isolate. For-like-ever. Why not start at the welcome thread to say hello & say I've missed chatting with a handful of you. It seems I've missed a bit of drama here I gotta catch up!
