NY news. Tornado. Be prepared to flee Isaias - Charon - 08-03-2020
Well NY has been my world after i went to six differing colleges and all just because.
Today we are on heightened alert. Be prepared to evacuate.
Ok, I can handle that.
But we have a bitchin warning for tomorrow for entire Hudson Valley area.
We are to batton? down the hatches. Prepare for a tornado or three or four.
Have meds?? and food and clothing and another shelter to get to.
My car has two flat tires. Me sister and her kids will buy them for me but not until i am ready to leave cuz houseshare will destroy my car again. As is, i have to enter my vehicle with twist ties in lieu of a handle.
Good things he is an essential worker Auto Body man. cheese.
This house was built in 1905. Windows are originals. It was to be torn down by now but Landlord is suing baby momma for not being able to tear us down and put up 22 condos.
We are to prepare to lose power. Okie Dokie. so I won't be able to breath. Since I developed lupus so many yrs ago, i use an AC to breathe. Dunno. It helps.
So, anyone in the path of Hurricane/Tornado Isaias, Be prepared.
If you know this area of NY, roads always flood. Always. When it merely rains.
Ifn u r in the path, be prepared with a clothing bag. Meds. Food and water and be prepared to evacuate.
I refused when i lived in upstate NY. I was opposite the Delaware River but my property was way up high.
But National Guard forced me outta my house. Claiming it was a link exploded. Balderdash. It was 2006 and a burglar on the run, Bucky Phillips, was probably in someone's house and so police were furious that no agency could catch him. So they lied about a gas leak. They made me leave instantly with my attack dog whom i had to train to trust no one but me and the cats. The area had just allowed sex offenders and drug addicts into new apts they built behind our homes. So, gotta be prepared to be forced out if the gvt wants u out.
So be prepared if u are anywhere near NY. The coast.
And, on the other hand, goodbye and goodluck.

Charon, please try to stay safe!! Try to evacuate early so you don't get caught up with everyone else leaving.

I am not evacuating. I don't do that unless national guard forces my door open.
We had winds last nite. Freaked out the chickens whom i just went out to care for.
But, houseshare went to work. And my car still does not work after he used it for six yrs.
So, I shall be in prayer. But i have people whom have given up both here and in covid forum. As long as i have power I shall help them.
If i don't have power? Then I pray. But my sister is close ish. But she and her husband are quarantining for months due to fear of the virus. She won against stage iv cancer. He has one of my autoimmunes. Because of my houseshare dicking around with no mask and all, I would not even try to go near my sister.
I shall be here. Prayers for u Slick also. And love and HUGS.

Ok the worst is coming for Westchester and such very soon. B/W 1 and 4 is winds. Metro North trains will suspend services if winds go above 39 miles per hour. Then between 2pm and six Pm we have floods, possibility of tornadoes, power outages.
All the way through tomorrow. Which will be 90 degrees. Swell. Cuz we lose power so often in this area.
If it rains, the Bronx River Parkway was impassible. This is a monster storm of types we haven't seen in Westchester before. Not in my lifetime. Which is long. LOL.
Winds 70 mph.
Gusts 60 mph now.
But the rain, winds and tornado is booking it toward my area. The newscaster is freaking. If you are near water, one is to get the sand bags. Clean out storm drains. All water pipes and drains were built under the house I am in back in 1905. The town water turns black when it rains. Yum.
We have bottled. I wish I had gotten fixed up in case i get dragged out by national guard. Damn Facebook. I hope at least the violence will die down for this day and the next.
Everyone stay safe. NJ is about to be hit soon. Remember the worst thru Hudson Valley is b/w 1 and 6 pm.
Please be careful with animals.
Oh, my last rental with a Witch woman, thief, liar, she always claimed if we lost power, she would use the generator i had to pay for. Or, I could go with her to her fathers house. Turns out the witch left me alone. In the apt. No power, no water no heat No nothing. For three weeks. That was Hurricane Sandy.

My poor poor sister had to walk dogs for another cancer survivor in a God forsaken area. i called and told do it stat. the tornado is here. 78 miles per hour.
She did. And the second she got back, she heard a loud crack. Turns out a tree, aged 285years, crashed into her condo. And is now on the steps to leave the condo. Emergency crews will have to remove it safely when they can.
Houseshare would not listen to me about the severity. And he just lost power so he is leaving work. Ok, i heard a loud crash. Gotta check it out. Please, take this seriously.
