How long is too long for you to wait ? - Nobleone - 02-07-2019

I see a lot of people getting anxiety over how long they have to wait for their books. It almost always takes longer than you want it to .

So my question is how long is it  for you until the anxiety sets in that makes you start watching your mailbox ?

The publisher usually, not always, gives a suggested delivery timeframe. I allow the maximum plus maybe a day or two, then send an inquiry.

I think it depends on where your magazine is coming from. Some take longer than others.

I learned a long time ago to always keep a little extra of whatever you need for peace of mind . Shy So I don't worry anymore

After 3 weeks I start wondering and will reach out.

I have mailbox anxiety anywhere from 10 days onwards. If it's longer than 3 weeks and nothing, not even a LL, I reach out to them

2cweeks, but I’ve waited more than a month when postal issues are known to happen

Keeping a little extra, or even moderately extra of what you need is a very good idea.
