Hello one and all.
I have been a lurker here for a while now, and having recently lost my ultra reliable overseas vendor, with the worlds best packaging, I find  myself back at square one and looking for a new vendor.
I have used many different vendors over the last 20 years or so. In the last 5 years, I had been drawn to the 'lights' of internet pages and all the fancy stuff that goes with it, and as a result, found a well known and well discussed vendor who up until recently, was getting trashed on most boards. However, maybe because I am in Australia, I never had an issue with their shipping and packaging.
It's usually the other way around. Australia is renowned for it's tough Customs, however this particular vendor was excellent at getting things in, although I did see that folks from the U.S. and other parts, were having a hard time receiving from them. Needless to say, good things come to an end, and to my disappointment, they folded.
I have since been impressed with the reputation of MM, on this and other boards. I have my fingers crossed as we speak. Either way, he is a gentleman and has bought back old fashioned customer service to an otherwise rude and unpleasant business.
I don't know everything, but given the amount of time I have been doing this, plus the fact that I was also a vendor (remailer) within this country for a couple of years, I have learnt some things.
I have a bit of trouble when it comes to my mouth. I am often called 'outspoken'. Because of my age and work experience I suppose, I have become tough on fools but love helping people who ask. Maybe it's age, but I feel more of a mentor these days.Â
Anyway, that's me. I'm here to learn and to provide help if needed.
This seems to be a very well run and well moderated forum, so congrats to the mods, etc.
