I think I need to stock up, but I've never tried it before. I'm waiting for a package right now and it's stressful. I just don't sleep at all. (hello 4:40am...)

Ha, thanks Charon. Only took me 6 months! I've been more motivated lately and had more free time. That free time goes away pretty soon. Thanks for being so welcoming.

Thank you for that advise Fire...that's kinda part of the stress of the whole process - Is it a bad idea to ask you to be more specific with what constitutes large, small? I'm never sure if I'm actually ordering "a lot" or a "small amount" ...but I certainly don't want to turn the discussion into a dicey area...

That's kinda where I'm at Fuss - I appreciate everyone's approach to coping with the stress of having enough and running out and watching that dang mailbox... but to do it in a wise way...

From what we have understood, people had the impression that they could order a ninety day supply of meds from another country.
Turns out that is not true. As the DEA informed admins in may of 2001.
Granted, I have never even gotten a ticket in this life. But, I would be fearful to order more than a month or two worth of meds i have scripts for, and the illnesses to match, at a time.
In fact, if my vendor is late, even very late, i don't place another order. I go off meds and await to see if i receive a letter of interdiction. Many of us know the tale of one person whom had their packages nicked. It was reshipped. And, again. The gvt showed up at their door with all three packages.
Of course i cannot give up the info as to whom, or exactly how much, but people have told the Attorney in me that they did do time for receipt of a thirty day supply.
Recently, even thirty day supplies from a thailand pharmacy for trams caused D3A knocks at US citizens doors.
We have no answer, per se. Most of us choose extreme caution.

Oh wow, thanks for this information. I just recently responded to this thread and stated how I thought it was a GREAT idea for people to stock up. After reading your comment, and realizing the possible consequences of doing this, I will now "use extreme caution" and stick to a one month supply per order. Thank you!!

I appreciate your sharing this information, because I certainly was unaware that something like this could happen. Actually, I just read Charon's latest post here, and she provided information about someone experiencing this very thing. I'd be scared to death to be caught up in a legal situation with the Government. Be safe, everyone.

Thank you Charon...that is also extremely helpful and sobering...(and part of the stress of the situation, obviously)... I get kindof a false sense of security after several successful pkgs and I really appreciate the words of caution...
Costro...do you hide some from yourself like buried somewhere outa town where no one would find them? I sometimes try to have an "unpreferred" med on hand that I won't use unless I'm in dire straights to get me by...

I seem to always say stockpile over not stockpile, for many of the same reasons people have said before. A vendor might not be there the next time you go to make an order is the big one! With that said i don't say stockpile stupid amounts. Use ones common sense ;-)

I just started to stash 25% of each order for this purpose, i write it off in my head so I dont just run through inventory.
