I found Mirapax or whatever the brand name, (could be Mirapex, it's pramiprexole) to work right away...although I find it very unpleasant and it gives me headaches, the kind I take a tylenol 500 and an aspirin at the same time for (not dangerous) when I don't have anything better. Looking at your text, it could be that you also have restless arm syndrome (they call it restless upper body syndrome), it does exist, but at that point often we're talking of people with seizures which are partially controlled, they still get them but don't lose consciousness.
