Thanks for your input. I guess I just need to keep learning more about this. I know this is a little off topic, but would you recommend that I see a general practitioner first and then get a referral to a psych? I always fear that they are going to just see me as a drug seeker and shut me down immediately. Obviously there's a little truth in that, but only to the extent that I'm looking for something to help me, whatever that may end up being. I get so nervous going to see doctors, even if it's just for a cold! My heart just about beats out of my chest, it's weird.
