At first they were doing it later in the year, September, October, November, but since then the months have been May/June. I think they realized that mail volume internationally starts increasing four to five months before the holildays season because stores are stocking up, manufacturers are ordering and sending goods, people start sending gifts sometimes early to guarantee arrival before the holidays, etc, etc. So, there were way more packages to go through. So, I'm guessing you are right. It may have passed (I haven't noticed an uptick in LL's) already, but I'm suspecting it'll be beginning before the end of June definitely July. I think one big thing is some people order non-scheduled drugs, like Viagra, from overseas and the packaging isn't always as stealthy so the numbers reported seem very high but last year's effort like you mentioned didn't seem to have much of an impact here. I think a lot of the stuff snagged are from IOP's selling items that people would prefer to just easily order online and not see a doctor and a pharmacist for. And, the country you are ordering from is also pretty relevant when this operation goes on because anything from "suspected" areas will receive extra scrutiny. I wouldn't get too worried though because we never know what it will be going on and for me I don't want the extra anxiety of something getting snagged. I'm actually building a stockpile up in case of emergency and will continue with my orders going forward. If I lose one, so be it (until it happens and then I'm on here ranting and raving all pissed off about it).
Also, why you should not use gmail or Google Chrome, which I'm doing right now. gmail stores all you email data on their servers for seven years and this:

Changed up the quote so the bot's don't hit on the word initially stated. But Google is a nosey, business that has a long history of looking at your internet searches, storing your emails and violating rights you thought you had.
I need to change something, but it's too late to edit. It doesn't matter what country you order from. Every country I have ever used or know of that offers what I need to live a healthy life is part of the Panda group. Literally, every single country participates that I have had a transaction with. And, my favorite country is listed. Ugh.

Same here... I think I'll be ok though, because I followed its steps and it's sitting in a local office. Might have to fork over a release fee, but I can live with that. After that, I'll have enough to keep me working 'til July at least

Yes, where I'm based sometimes anything I'm expecting from around the world (not just the subject matter of this board) gets flagged as needing a little extra once it arrives. It can be quite taxing
Nothing to do with those pesky pandas, though I'm going to avoid them just in case.

Distressing indeed. Wish I had seen it a tad earlier. But good info Raven. Our tax dollars hard at work. Of course I would like to see Interpol a little more concerned with potential terrorists and other shenanigans, but someone needs to feel important. They should use their resources more responsibly.

I have not heard of any troubles with the bears as yet. I wish you the best of luck if you are waiting on a post card from a special friend and, yes, I totally agree with you regarding how best we should spend our resources in order to keep people safe.
