A Small Introduction - vanSpiff - 02-23-2018
Just wanted to introduce myself to this forum and come out of the shadows. I've been browsing on here for some time and was able to coordinate my first purchase with the information posted here from other members and a vendor in that specific thread, so thanks for helping me decide to pull the trigger on that order! From what I have been reading on here everyone seems friendly and family-like but very cautious, which is good!
I have been known even in real life to withdrawal from social contact so I might not engage in much small-talk but whatever useful help and information I can provide to this forum through my experiences I will happily contribute. I have spent years researching "grey area" materials before turning to IOP's so i'm more versed in those exchanges but i'm now interested in acquiring more traditional subscriptions if that makes sense
...Many moons ago I could rely on a man in a white cloak to provide me with some traditional reading material without hassle but when I moved across the country I have been unable to find any help and have suffered to keep afloat having to construct my own raft; so you do what you have to do to get what you need and this community seems like a great resource to gain direction. I've spoken mostly in metaphors here, but i'm sure it's easy enough to decipher. Thanks in advance for any warm welcomes in case I forget to check back in this thread
